Susan Edinger, LICSW

Susan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.

She received her Master of Social Work from Columbia University in 1980 with a specialization in families and older adults.

Susan has worked with clients across the age span but the majority of her experience is with clients in late middle age onward. She has worked with individuals, families, and groups in a variety of settings, both in the community and in nursing facilities.

With her extensive experience working with older adults, Susan brings to her practice an understanding of the challenges that may arise as people get older. She helps clients navigate issues such as grief, loss, health challenges, caregiving, and conflicts with adult children.

Susan uses a strength-based approach in her practice, helping her clients identify and use the coping skills and strategies they have developed over their lifetimes.
