Bruce Morse II, MA, LMFT

Bruce is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development and Family Studies and Political Science from the University of Connecticut in 2010. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 2012.

Prior to entering private practice, Bruce has provided psychotherapy to adults, children, couples, and families within a multi-service agency and worked with youth in emergency mobile crisis settings.

Bruce enjoys providing relational treatment for youth, adults, couples, and families. Bruce’s professional passion is helping couples work through infidelity issues and general marital conflict; in addition to helping families manage conflict, and navigate blended family, parenting, and divorce-related family issues. Working with adult individuals, Bruce specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues.

In addition to his work with adults, Bruce enjoys working with younger individuals starting at 12 years of age, focusing on treating ADHD and externalizing behaviors in adolescents.

Beyond these specialty areas, Bruce has received training and has experience related to treating addiction, anger management, Bipolar Disorder, chronic pain, sleep issues, intellectual disabilities, and social functioning issues.

Bruce draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Structural Family Therapy, Symbolic-Experiential Family Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Emotionally-Focused Couple’s therapy, all influencing his unique style of treatment.
