Alicia Rodio, LICSW

Alicia is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.

Alicia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish from Salve Regina University in 1999 and a Master of Social Work degree from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work in 2011, with a concentration in Mental Health.  

Alicia’s professional experiences consist of providing individual therapy and group therapy in different treatment settings, including Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, and Partial Hospital Programs.

Alicia has spent the majority of her professional career helping people cope with substance use disorders. She also works with people who are experiencing anxiety; depression and/or bipolar disorders; anger control issues; and low self-esteem.

Alicia enters each session from a Person-Centered approach and meets people where they currently are. Her clinical style is genuine, compassionate, and supportive. Alicia is ardent about helping address the stigmas associated with coping with substance use disorders. She uses evidence-based techniques from modalities of CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
